A Nation that Prays
 
There has never been a time in history like the one we live in today.  Sure, some things repeat themselves, but for the most part, we are experiencing the best of life.  
 
Even with all the challenges and difficulties, America is still being blessed.  Why?  Because we live in a nation that celebrates a day where the entire nation can be in agreement for peace, prosperity, and the well being for one another.
 
Whether you agree with all the goings on right now or not, you can agree in prayer according to God`s Word.  Pray for peace in our country and families.  Pray for our nation to be receptive to the things of the Lord.  Thank God you have the right to pray as a nation, and then do it.
 
Ask Jesus into your heart today.   Salvation Prayer
It is important that we pray for the upcoming elections in America.
 
Pray that the right person is put in charge of this country, so that she returns to a country God can bless!

A Morning Prayer
in God We Trust
 
Dear Heavenly Father,
"LORD, how are they increased that trouble me!  Many are they that rise up against me.
 
Many there be which say of my soul, there is no help for him in God.  Selah.
 
But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
 
I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His Holy hill. Selah.
 
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.  
 
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
 
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.  
 
Salvation belongs unto the LORD: Thy blessing is upon Thy people.  Selah.

Pray for Our Leaders
 
No matter how you voted in the last election, and all politics aside, every believer has been called upon to pray for our leaders.  
 
Our President is included in that call from the Lord, and not just on President`s Day, but every day.  Like all presidents before him, his job is a difficult one on a good day, and we must uphold him in prayer.
 
America was blessed from it`s foundation with Godly men who governed wisely, scripturally, and with prayer.  With God`s loving grace, we can once again live in a healed, blessed, and Godly nation.  Just remember this as you pray, “The king`s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turneth it whithersoever He will (Prov. 21:1).”
 
"...Pray, intercede and give thanks for all men: kings and all those in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."
 
"For this is good and acceptable in the
sight of God our Savior, who desires all
men to be saved and t o come to the knowledge of the Truth."

Prayer for our leaders:
 
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You today on behalf of our  President and his advisors that they
will daily seek You daily for wisdom from the Holy Spirit for each action they make.  I pray that they do not rely on their own thinking or earthly understanding, and that they will
 
"Trust in the LORD with all their heart(s0, and will not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways they will acknowledge You LORD GOD and You alone will direct (make straight) their paths (for our country so that we may glorify you)."
(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Psalm 144
 
1 “Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.
 
2 My lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer.
My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.
 
3 LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him?  Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?
 
4 Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow.
 
5 Bow down Your heavens, O LORD, and come down; Touch the mountains, and they shall smite.
 
6 Flash forth lightning and scatter them.  Stretch out Your arrows and destroy them.  
 
7 Stretch out Your hand from above: Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of foreigners.
 
 8 Whose mouth speaks lying (empty or worthless) words, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

14 That our oxen may be well laden; that there be no breaking (breach) in or going out; that there be no outcry in our streets.

Prayer for guidance

No matter what you are going through at this moment, focus on the LORD and that He is aware of the situation.  He is in control and will deliver you if you call on Him.  Psalm 144 is a prayer that David prayed for guidance to deliver Him from the enemy.  He remained focused and in touch with the LORD at all times during the battle, and God delivered Him each time.  That same God wants to help you right now.  Call on Him and pray this prayer.  Read this Psalm and ask God for wisdom to know what to do right now.  If you have not asked Jesus into your heart to save you, do it now.  Time is precious, you must Believe in God and accept His Son Jesus.
Read the Psalm (to the right) and as Jesus said,  
"only believe"!

Hidden Enemies
 
“Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint;
protect my life from the threat of the enemy.  Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of evildoers.  They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their words like deadly arrows.  They shoot from ambush at the innocent man; they shoot
at him suddenly, without fear. They encourage each other in evil plans, they
talk about hiding their snares; they say, “who will see them?”  They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!”  Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning.  But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be struck down.  He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.  All mankind
will fear; they will
proclaim the works of God and ponder what He has done.  Let the righteous rejoice in the Lord and
take refuge in Him; let all the upright in heart praise
