| My wife and I were married in July of 1975. Were we High School sweethearts, and really grew up together. |
|
| Even though our life has had ups and downs, we have a formula for living joyfully together. We laugh each day. |

| To live joyfully you must have joy in your life and let it flow from you. With joy you gain peace and strength from the Lord as it says in Nehemiah 8:10, “…the joy of the Lord is your strength.” |
|

| Wisdom is Better than Strength |
|
| “(vs. 16) Then I said: Wisdom is better than strength, nevertheless the poor man`s wisdom is despised. (vs. 18) Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good.” |
|
| In a battle, guns jam, missiles miss their targets and tanks overheat. A virtually indestructible military can be brought to its knees when their sophisticated weapons fail. Their strength is easily taken from them. |
|
| The Word of God tells us that wisdom is better than weapons and physical strength. |
|
| Wisdom can prevent wars and win wars. Wisdom through the Word will cause you to stand even during great adversity. |
|
| Pray each day for wisdom for our President and leaders. Wisdom will truly make America strong. (J/CW) |

|
| “If the iron is blunt, and he does not whet (sharpen the blade) the edge, then must he put to more strength (use more effort): but wisdom is profitable (beneficial) to direct (the solution).” |

| Have you ever seen someone split wood? When they begin the project the ax they use may have a sharp blade. But as the task goes on, the blade becomes dull and has to be sharpened. If you cannot sharpen it, you have to use more strength in order for the ax to cut through the wood. However, if you have foreknowledge of the situation, your wisdom will bring success. Since we don`t always know how to prepare for every situation, it is important that we stay close to God and ask for wisdom for all our daily tasks. |

| People who say that money doesn`t matter evidently have never tried to grocery shop without any. You tell them, “I don`t believe money matters” and they`ll say “Then we believe you should leave the groceries right where they are.” |
|
| To hungry children in a far off land, what is the answer to getting them fed? Churches need to have electricity to function for the people. How will we ever be able to get the lights turned on? The answer is money! It is necessary in man`s system and we must have it in order to be alive and effective for the Lord. |
|
| We are to utilize money to benefit the Kingdom of God and winning souls. Let`s go out and answer some things for the Kingdom today by giving. (J/CW) |
